The Attitude Era was a wild, rebellious chapter in professional wrestling history, centered around the World Wrestling Federation from the late 1990s into the early 2000s. Commonly dated from 1997 to 2002, it transformed WWF programming into a louder, edgier, more unpredictable form of sports entertainment. The era grew out of the Monday Night War, as WWF’s Raw Is War battled WCW’s Monday Nitro for television audiences. (Wikipedia)
