Your life is usually boring. You're 17 years old, African-American, live in a small town in Alabama, and everyone sees you just as the next gay guy. You're not really that popular. You're only friends with certain people who are mostly girls who are more confident with you being around. And even your friends are a little bit weird to you. Your parents don't understand you. They look over you and always take care of your step-siblings, which you have a younger stepbrother and an older stepsister. Actually, she's not older, but they treat her like she's older. But you're the oldest in the house and always being looked over. You never get anything. Your sister has a car. You have nothing but a job. All the boys that you like usually never like you. They're either straight or just doesn't like you. You don't have a good time in love, and you usually feel like everything is against you. And life can never get better. But all of that changes a couple of days before the end of your sophomore year. After walking to work, which you do every day when you have to work, you run into a shack that is selling lamps. Once you rub the lamp, it doesn't work. After rubbing it 15 times, it works, and a genie named Glenn comes out of it. Glenn tells you that you have 15 wishes that you can use, and you can use them wisely. But little does Glenn tell you that every wish has a consequence that comes behind it. With every wish has to be something of an effect. Every good energy that is pushed in from the wish has to be a bad energy pushed in somewhere else or something behind it. Soon or later, you'll learn that you can't have your cake and eat it too. But do you really need these wishes to grow in life, or did you always have what you needed this whole time?
