Seth Clearwater isn’t supposed to be out chasing Victoria with the rest of the pack. As the youngest wolf, he’s been left behind to patrol the Quileute reservation while the others hunt down the vampire threatening Forks. It’s supposed to be a quiet patrol, until Seth catches the unfamiliar scent of someone who has crossed the reservation boundary. What begins as a simple investigation quickly becomes something neither Seth nor the stranger could have expected. One moment, Seth is trying to figure out who wandered onto Quileute land; the next, the entire world seems to shift around one person. With Victoria still lurking nearby, the wolves guarding the reservation, and the Clearwater family already dealing with more than enough change, Seth’s life is about to become a lot more complicated, and maybe a whole lot brighter.
