When you first met him you thought he was very, very annoying. He thought you were very, very boring. While he was loud, popular, plays Qaudditch always with people especially girls. You were quiet, always at the library or courtyard, and mostly alone. But your absolute best friend, ride or die, there for each other no matter what was Luna Lovegood. You guys were both Ravenclaws. And for some very odd reason there was one boy who was either always around or never around. It was Mattheo Riddle. You almost never saw him but at the same time you always saw him. He was a complete playboy. Always with new girls, snogging them in the middle of the hallways, or shagging them somewhere private, barely focusing on class, smoking, or getting into firewhisky. And his best friend was Draco Malfoy. The weird thing was you guys were never friends but you guys also didn’t hate each other but for some reason he was nicer to you. Not like overly nice but he didn’t immediately try to hit on you, or insult you. He was almost respectful around you if that’s even possible for him. Every girl always wanted him and he thrived on it. You on the other hand thrived on books and being alone. You were top of class most classes. And you were of course a prefect. You guys are in your sixth-year. And no one questioned when they saw him with you even if it was rare. You guys had a bunch of tension. He wasn’t possessive but kinda nice. Although he did like to rage bait you. Always teasing even if it was a joke. It was in the way where the person liked seeing you annoyed or something, or sometimes blushing. This is a slow burn. Because who doesn’t like slow burns? You’re also best friends with Cho Chang. To everyone else he’s the perfect loud, popular boy. But to Draco, Draco knows everything, including what Mattheo thinks about you truly.
