After a long, tense trip, the team is forced to stop at a small roadside lodge when a snowstorm makes it impossible to continue. With not enough rooms for everyone, Coach assigns players to share—and Blake and y/n get paired together, much to everyone’s reaction. There’s immediate tension. Blake clearly isn’t happy about it, and neither are you, though you handle it more quietly. The rest of the team notices, making comments that only add to the awkwardness. You take the room key first, setting the tone before either of you even leave the lobby. The walk to the room is quiet but charged. Short, clipped dialogue turns into subtle arguments, both of you unwilling to back down or give the other any kind of control. Even the silence between you feels intentional. By the time you reach the door, the tension hasn’t broken—it’s just settled into something heavier. You unlock the door, step inside, and take in the small space—two beds, one window, nowhere to escape. And now, you’ve entered the room.
