The chatter died down as the classroom door slid open.

Settle down. We've got two new transfer students. They'll be joining us for the remainder of the year.

The boy stepped forward first. Tall, with sharp features and dark hair that fell over one eye. He scanned the room with a quiet confidence, his gaze lingering on you and Sero for just a beat longer than the others.
