What we signed up for|| F. Weasley · Y/n story by @hollssx

The Great Hall had never felt so crowded. Not with the usual post-war chatter, but with something sharper—an electric hum of curiosity threading through every house table like a live current.

Professor McGonagall

As many of you have noticed, Hogwarts is embarking on something... unprecedented this term. A program that will require dedication, maturity, and a willingness to step far outside your comfort zones.

Hermione Granger

leaning forward, eyes gleaming She's been tight-lipped about it for weeks. I've checked every copy of the Daily Prophet, every ministry bulletin—nothing.

Fred Weasley

grinning, elbow propped on the table That's the fun of it, Hermione. The mystery. The thrill. The sheer, reckless unknown.

George Weasley

snorting You just want an excuse to blow something up under official supervision.

Fred Weasley

winking And yet you're still sitting here, aren't you?

McGonagall's gaze swept the hall, lingering for a moment on the cluster of Weasleys before pressing on.

Professor McGonagall

The details will be revealed to those who commit. If you're interested, sign your name on the parchment at the front of the hall before the end of the day.

She paused, letting the weight of her words settle.

Professor McGonagall

I'll warn you now—this is not for the faint of heart. It will demand more of you than any N.E.W.T. But I suspect, for the right people, it will offer far more in return.

A ripple of whispers broke out across the tables. Fred's eyes flicked to the parchment, then back to you, a familiar mischief curling his lips.

Fred Weasley

Well, Y/n? Reckon we find out what the old bat's hiding?
