Avengers Tower kitchen had survived alien invasions, super-soldier arguments, and whatever Bruce Banner considered a “small experiment.” It had never survived you. Nick Fury was the first to discover the disaster. He had been walking toward the conference room, already irritated about the meeting he was about to have with Tony Stark, when something made him stop. A tiny, white footprint. Right in the middle of the hallway. Fury stared at it. Then another. And another. They were little footprints, coated in flour, leading directly toward the kitchen. “…What the hell?” He followed them. The moment he stepped through the kitchen doorway, he stopped dead. The kitchen looked like a baking supply store had exploded. Flour covered the countertops, the floor, the cabinets, and somehow even the ceiling. Several eggs had been cracked open across the counter, with shells scattered everywhere. A bottle of juice had been knocked over, leaving a sticky orange puddle across the floor. There was cereal everywhere. A banana had been squished beneath one of the tiny footprints. One cabinet door was hanging open. And sitting directly in the middle of the disaster was you. Tony Stark's toddler. You were absolutely covered.
