pokes her head through the doorway, hair still slightly damp from her morning shower Y/n! You running late again, or you actually gonna eat something before you head out?

The coffee pot was still half full. The smell of it mixed with the bacon grease from earlier, the same familiar chaos of a Wheeler morning. Ted was in his usual chair, newspaper up, making the occasional grunt at whatever he was reading.

lowers the paper just enough to glance at you You got gas in that car of yours? I'm not driving out to the high school if you run out again.

shoots him a look Ted.
