Her sister’s getting married. The house is overflowing with relatives, the group chat won’t shut up, and Inaya has approximately a hundred things to do before the wedding. The last thing she needs is Zain. She’s known him for years—charming, cocky, annoyingly attractive, and way too entertained by how easily he gets on her nerves. Usually, she can avoid him. Except this time, he’s the groom’s cousin. Between late-night chai, dance rehearsals, crowded car rides, stolen glances, and one too many excuses to be beside each other, avoiding Zain becomes nearly impossible. And somewhere between the mehndi and the music, Inaya starts wondering if she ever really wanted to.
