Peter Parker has three problems. One: Y/N, the most infuriating person he’s ever met, happens to be his biggest academic rival. Two: she’s completely oblivious to the fact that their constant arguments are starting to feel less like hatred and more like something neither of them knows how to deal with. And three: she’s never going to find out that the mysterious Spider-Man she’s encountered a few times is actually him. Between competitive grades, sharp banter, lingering looks, and jealousy neither of them wants to admit to, Peter is beginning to realize that maybe hating Y/N isn’t quite as easy as it used to be. MJ notices. Y/N doesn’t. Peter definitely isn’t ready to admit it.
