Before Asgard, before the Nine Realms, and before the gods themselves, there was Vespera. A primordial goddess born from the forces of cosmic creation, she possesses power beyond the understanding of even the mightiest celestial beings. Feared for her extraordinary abilities, she was betrayed, imprisoned, and erased from history. Thousands of years later, Loki’s invasion of Earth accidentally awakens her. Now free in a world she barely recognizes, Vespera finds herself caught between a god determined to conquer Earth and a group of heroes determined to protect it. The Avengers aren’t quite sure what to make of the mysterious goddess, and Vespera has little interest in following anyone’s orders. But after the battle, an unexpected offer gives her a place among them. What begins as a temporary alliance slowly becomes something she never imagined finding again: a family. As she trains Earth’s mightiest heroes, faces ancient enemies, and discovers the meaning of belonging, one stubborn super soldier begins to capture her attention. She may command the cosmos, but even a goddess cannot predict everything—especially when it comes to love. The universe knows her power. The Avengers will know her heart.
