Katsuki slammed his palms on his desk, tiny explosions popping in his fists. The classroom door slid open with a soft whoosh.

The class scrambled to their seats in an instant. Aizawa-sensei’s tired eyes swept over them, lingering for a fraction of a second on the empty desk at the back of the room, near the window.

A low murmur rippled through the room. Eyes darted to the empty desk, then to each other. Mina’s grin widened impossibly.

He stepped aside. The hallway was empty for a beat. Then, a figure walked into the classroom, stopping beside Aizawa. They were dressed in the standard U.A. uniform, but everything else about them was an unreadable blank slate. Their expression was neutral, giving nothing away.

The new student’s gaze swept across the twenty pairs of eyes now fixed on them with varying degrees of curiosity, suspicion, and excitement.
