Steven and Connie are friends and only friends. They tried to be lovers once but it never worked out because of how different they were and how their lives were so now they are just friends. Best friends. Nothing more- but the gems.. start thinking maybe we would be good together. They don’t say it out loud but it’s there. Me and Connie were best friends like how two cats have a connection. But when it comes to actual love relationships they are like a bear and a rabbit. Connie focuses on studying and training but often likes to have fun, while Steven has a lot of training to do but also tried to study. Plus Steven is often helping people out, and he has a life as a gem and doesn’t know how feelings work exactly because no one taught him. No one knows that he doesn’t understand though, not yet at least.
