The Eclipse Circus is unlike anything the world has ever seen. Hidden beneath the glittering lights, roaring crowds, and impossible acts is a tight-knit family of performers who have spent years travelling from town to town together. At the heart of it all is Kim Hongjoong, the charismatic ringleader who inherited the circus and will do anything to keep his family together. There’s Seonghwa, the graceful aerialist who seems to belong among the stars; Yunho, the charming magician whose smile is almost as distracting as his tricks; Yeosang, the mysterious masked acrobat whose identity remains a secret even from the audience; San, the impossibly strong strongman and gentle animal tamer; Mingi, the reckless sword swallower and fire breather who treats danger like an old friend; Wooyoung, the mischievous jester who can make anyone laugh; and Jongho, the quiet, intimidating knife thrower with frightening precision. Then you arrive. With nowhere else to go and little experience beyond a lifetime of trying to survive on your own, you find yourself accepting a job with the Eclipse Circus. What begins as a temporary arrangement quickly becomes something much more.
