Y/N has known Peter casually for months without knowing he's Spider-Man. They cross paths at a coffee shop regularly. Easy conversations. Comfortable familiarity. Peter found himself looking forward to seeing them. Then one night Y/N gets caught in trouble and Spider-Man shows up. When he pulls away, Y/N pieces it together. The height. The movements. The way he appeared exactly when they needed help. One moment and suddenly Y/N knows. Peter realizes immediately. The recognition in their eyes. The secret he's kept locked away is now shared with someone who matters. Instead of pushing them away, Peter lets them in. Just enough to have one person who knows both versions of him. The Peter Parker side and the Spider-Man side. But Spider-Man's world is dangerous and Peter is convinced being close to him will destroy them. He keeps distance even as he's letting them in. Y/N has to decide if knowing the truth is worth the danger. Peter has to decide if keeping someone safe means pushing away the only person who's ever seen him completely.
