The clock on your phone flickered to 2:03 AM. The blue glow of the screen was the only light in your dark bedroom, casting long shadows across the rumpled sheets. Your thumb hovered over the keyboard, then typed another message.

A phone rings It's not his familiar tone. It's a generic, jarring buzz that makes you jump.

Sawamura Daichi. The name on the screen makes your stomach drop.
