Y/N and Alec Hardy are dating. Alec is trans (ftm) but he hasn’t come out yet. He doesn’t pass yet… and his name is still Isabelle Hardy. Y/N still doesn't know that Alec is trans because Alec is to scared to tell them. Alec figured out that he is trans before Sandbrook but with everything that happened there he just couldn’t start transitioning and he felt to old too start. Now that in Broadchurch things have died down and there are no major cases Alec wants to tell Y/N because he feels like he’s lying to them.
