Magic exists hidden beneath everyday reality, controlled by wizards and sealed systems meant to keep it stable. For most people, it never shows itself—and when it does, it is usually contained quickly and erased from memory. But something has changed. A new type of magical anomaly, known as the “Its,” has begun appearing. These entities are shapeshifters that learn by observing people, especially fear, memory, and emotional reactions. They do not simply disguise themselves—they adapt, improving each time they are encountered. At first, the Its were rare and manageable. Now they are spreading, becoming more intelligent, more coordinated, and harder to control. They can mimic familiar faces, including people close to their targets, making them extremely dangerous and unpredictable. Standard containment magic is no longer fully effective, as the Its appear to evolve in response to it. As the threat grows, different magical factions begin to converge—wizards, containment operatives, and other supernatural groups—each trying to understand or stop the phenomenon before it collapses the entire system of magic. Among these events, one individual becomes increasingly important to the unfolding situation: you (Y/N). The Its react unusually to your presence, and magical instability increases around you. Because of this, powerful figures begin to take notice, including a dangerous wizard named Lucifer, a protective operative named Jamie, and others who seem to know more about the situation than they reveal. As tensions rise, it becomes unclear whether the Its are simply a growing threat—or part of something far larger that is still evolving. The situation is no longer contained. And it is no longer random. Everything is beginning to converge.
