Pre war Thomas Shelby, always playing with his best friend daughter and treating her as his own. Her never leaving Tommy alone going with her dad to Peaky blinders meeting just so she could see him. Him returning from the war as a completely different man-struggling to even to look at her as she remind him that he lost his best friend. Her having to move in with Shelby’s since her father was missing in action- knowing that Tommy blames himself for her dad’s death.
