She has been a Spider-Man fan for as long as she can remember. Posters on her bedroom walls, every movie watched more times than she could count, interviews saved on her phone, and an embarrassingly large collection of Spider-Man merchandise. And, of course, Tom Holland has always been her favorite Spider-Man. To her, though, he is just a celebrity. Someone impossibly far away from her ordinary life. Until one completely normal morning, everything changes. Still half-asleep, she reaches for her phone and mindlessly checks her notifications. One Instagram notification immediately catches her attention. Tom Holland started following you. She stares at the screen. Refreshes. Checks again. It’s still there. At first, she assumes it’s a fake account. Maybe someone hacked him. Maybe Instagram is glitching. Maybe she’s still dreaming. Then she opens his profile. Verified. Millions of followers. And somehow, among all those people… he’s following her. Her heart nearly stops. She has no idea how he found her. She doesn’t have a massive following, she’s never met him, and as far as she knows, she’s never even appeared on his radar. But then another notification appears. Tom Holland liked your photo. And suddenly, being a fan doesn’t feel quite so one-sided anymore. Because somewhere on the other side of the world, Tom Holland has apparently noticed her. The only question is… Why?
