Y/n has always loved conventions, cosplay, and the embarrassing freedom of getting completely absorbed in fictional worlds, but lately attending them has become less fun. Most of her friends have partners now, and what used to be chaotic weekends spent running around conventions together has slowly turned into Y/n tagging along behind couples. When another major convention comes around, she decides she would rather do something ridiculous than spend three days feeling like everyone’s extra friend.
