When the meteor shower hit Smallville, Clark wasn’t the only Kryptonian to land, you fell too(you are from the house of Em, the artists of Krypton), but you didn’t land in Smallville, you landed in Riverville, New York because your ship had been blown off course and when you landed, you were found by a couple with two boys who adopted you( you are shy and have social anxiety), but your family always seemed to forget about you meaning that they excluded you from celebrations (Christmas, birthdays, vacations, etc) and you were always left in your room alone with your art supplies and music which made you upset because you wanted to be a part of the fun, but you spent all your time in your room until your 20th birthday when you start having a headache and suddenly a woman appears outside of your window (your Kryptonian senses tell you that she is Kara Zor-El, but people call her Kara Kent) and she calls you by your Kryptonian name (Bela Van-Em) and she says she needs to take you to her cousin Kal-El because he is your destined husband by Kryptonian law.
