in which harry potter, ron weasley, hermione granger, and y/n are known as the golden four. when the golden four is told by dumbledore that the only way to stop voldemort is to go to before the first war when he is still preparing, and kill the horcruxes he had then gathered and then kill him. so in their 7th year they go back in time and end up in the 80s where the marauders have just graduated. when the time turner malfunctions and they end up in front of the murauders with a now broken time turner and no way back to their time, they decide to make the best of it. with sirius owning grimmauld place, an 8 bedroom magic townhome and a fortune enough to live three times over without ever working. with lily, ever the calm and maternal one, and james, ever the chaos and charm. with remus, also the calm one and ever the one you go to for advice. then there is peter, the black sheep, and the secretly dark wizard, though that is quickly exposed. combined they are the marauders, and they quickly become the golden four’s best friends/parents. though not expecting to become teen parents to teenagers, lily, james, sirius, and remus embrace it. they quickly defeat voldemort with the help of their parents and are then left to decide: now that the future is saved what are they to do? what kind of future will they build?
