You weren’t just an Avenger. Before joining the team, you’d spent years in the military, earning a record that even Steve Rogers himself couldn’t help but respect. Your service record is extraordinary: leadership positions, specialist training, difficult deployments, commendations and missions that very few people even know happened. But your military career also left scars. Your personal files contain things you’ve never told the Avengers—your family history, losses, failures, and things you were forced to live through. Only Fury has access to the complete files. Then a new intern arrives. At first, nobody thinks much of her. Until she starts copying you. Your routines. Your training schedule. Your clothes. Your mannerisms. Your favourite foods. Even the way you interact with everyone. And somehow, she’s slowly trying to become you.
