The wrong ship || Malachi Barton · Y/n story by @lover

The roar of the crowd was deafening, even backstage where the walls were thick and the hum of the lighting rigs buzzed overhead. The Worlds Collide Tour had just wrapped night three in Dallas, and the energy was still electric—crew members darting past with cables and water bottles, dancers towel-drying their faces, and the faint, bass-heavy thump of the encore still vibrating through the floor.

Kylie Centrall

Girl, that sign was the fifth one tonight. Fifth. I counted.

Malia Baker

It's a movement now. They've got matching shirts, I swear.

Mk

If they print a FRALACHI hoodie, I'm buying it and wearing it to bed.

Joshua Colley

You're not allowed to. That's weird.

Mk

You're weird.

Freya Skye

snorting, swatting a hand at them Y'all are so annoying. Leave my nonexistent love life alone.

Freya Skye

Kylie Centrall

raising a brow Oh, the infamous Y/n. The internet thinks you're an only child, don't they?

Malia Baker

Joshua Colley

Freya Skye

rolling her eyes, but grinning She's somewhere. Probably taking pictures of the setup or getting dragged into a conversation with a lights guy about his dog.

She pulled her phone out, thumb hovering over the screen. Then, as if on cue, her phone buzzed in her palm.

Freya Skye

under her breath, eyes bright with mischief Oh, they've got no idea.

Kylie Centrall

leaning over No idea about what?

Freya Skye

locking her phone, pocketing it with a smile Nothing. Just that my sister's about to be very late to our very important sibling hangout.

She grabbed her jacket, tossing a wink at the rest of the crew.

Freya Skye

Don't wait up. I'm gonna go find her.
