You’re a songwriter who’s spent years quietly writing hits for other people. You know how to turn feelings into lyrics, but you’ve never been particularly good at recognising them in real life. When you’re brought in to work with one of the biggest bands in the world, there’s just one problem: you’ve never heard of them. Thrown into an unfamiliar world of sold-out stadiums, screaming fans and seven men who seem to have their own language, you’re suddenly left alone with one member of the band; Jungkook. He’s watching you. At first, you assume he’s simply curious about the stranger who somehow doesn’t know who they are. But the longer you spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore the way he looks at you, the little things he remembers, or how quickly he finds excuses to be around you. He likes you. At least, you think he does. But when your entire career depends on keeping your emotions out of the songs you write, falling for the man you’re supposed to be writing for might be the one thing you can’t put into words.
