1768. The Caribbean. One very wrong century. When 25-year-old New Yorker Alexis Tucker wakes up in the past, she survives an execution, steals a key, and hides aboard a pirate ship. Unfortunately, the ship belongs to Red Jack, a ruthless captain who immediately realizes Alexis is lying about where she came from. She claims she's from a place called America. He has never heard of it. Now a dangerously clever woman from the future and a morally bankrupt pirate captain are stuck together in a world where neither of them intends to play by the rules.
