Nothing here requires an explanation before you’re ready to give one.” Around her, the hotel waited. ꧁༺═─═─═ ╾〔 ⚿ 〕╼ ═─═─═༻꧂ Once a year, the Aurelian Reach sends its masked army, the Silver Choir, into Gloamspire during Whitefall. The Tribunal claims these attacks prevent the Emberdeep from becoming overcrowded and dangerous. Condemned souls are never permitted to appeal their judgment, leaving everyone to believe their fate is permanent. Luna Lovegood is the younger royal of the Emberdeep. Gentle, eccentric, and far more perceptive than others assume, she discovers that a soul’s condemnation mark can change through remorse, accountability, and unselfish action. Convinced no one should be defined forever by their worst decision, Luna restores an abandoned observatory-hotel and names it the Wayward Star. The hotel offers shelter and the opportunity to earn a second judgment, but not effortless forgiveness. Its residents must confront the harm they caused, repair what they can, and learn to live without exploiting others. Luna intends to prove their progress before the Ivory Tribunal and force the Aurelian Reach to reconsider its laws. ╰━༺═╾𓆩⟡𓆪╼═━╾✦╼━═╾𓆩⟡𓆪╼═༻━╯
