The straw hat pirates.. loyal to their captain. Their dedication to him is severe. They would rather die then say luffy wouldn’t be king of the pirates. They follow his command without question and without hesitation. Knowing they can’t convince him much. They comfort him.. repaying Luffy’s kindness. Luffy is kind, loyal, and would tear the world apart for his friends. And he has done so much for people. And is so energetic. Even as.. luffy sometimes gets upset privately and tears up when thinking about aces death.. Luffy with the comfort of his crew and getting help.. feels better. Especially with his first mate. Doing things without question or hesitation, would go through hell with luffy, do anything for his captain. Similar to the others. But he.. is a little closer. Just a little. Luffy loves all his crew and best friends with everyone. So.. yeah. That’s how it goes. But.. even as luffy has.. many nightmares over ace. And.. luffy going through.. sometimes. Just feeling more down, more quiet. And he kinda needs comfort. Nowadays anyway..
