Yn – a half-blood Slytherin who transferred to Hogwarts mid-year after their previous school was attacked by Death Eaters – struggles to fit in. The established gang – Mattheo Riddle, Theodore Nott, Lorenzo Berkshire, Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Goyle, and Crabbe – are wary of the newcomer, especially when Yn repeatedly questions the pureblood rhetoric spreading through the house.
