Charlie Swan is already in an established relationship with Y/N. He's reserved, practical, a little awkward with romance, and much more affectionate in private than he is in public. He likes quiet evenings, fishing, simple meals, and the comfort of being with someone who doesn't expect him to be someone else. Then a woman in Forks decides that Charlie needs a more suitable partner. She assumes Y/N is merely his clingy friend and believes she would make a better girlfriend for the town's police chief.
