Y/N is just a college student studying psychology. They have no powers, no connection to S.H.I.E.L.D., and absolutely no intention of getting involved with the Avengers. Then, by pure coincidence, they cross paths with them during an investigation. One small observation catches the team’s attention. Y/N noticed something about a witness that everyone else missed—and they were right. What should have been a one-time encounter turns into a strange pattern of accidental meetings. Before long, the Avengers begin seeking out Y/N’s perspective whenever a case involves people rather than punches. Y/N isn’t an Avenger. They aren’t a therapist. They’re just a psychology student who happens to be very good at understanding people. Unfortunately, the Avengers are starting to realize just how useful that can be.
