Tyler Lockwood was at the Mystic Falls Grill a frequent place where the locals gather to dine and hold functions, he was hanging out with his friends… that was until Y/N walked in… her hair was short and looked gorgeous, he hasn’t seen Y/N since they were in diapers… and the look on her face looked like she had been running… she was covered in sweat and dirt and cuts and bruises… leaves in her hair… and she looked like she had been crying… and that’s when Tyler and Y/N locked eyes and she ran up in tears and hugged him tightly as he stood and he whispered against the top of her head “hey… it’s okay… you’re safe… you’re here… you’re with me… I got you….” As he hugged her tightly.
