Y/N had everything. Money, designer clothes, expensive jewelry, a private driver, and parents who practically gave her whatever she wanted. At school, everyone knew better than to argue with her. If she wanted something, she got it. If someone annoyed her, she made sure they regretted it. She was spoiled, arrogant, dramatic, and completely aware of it. Then there was Kuroo. He wasn’t impressed by her money. He didn’t care about her popularity, her attitude, or how many people immediately backed down when she raised her voice. In fact, Kuroo seemed to enjoy challenging her. Whenever Y/N demanded something from him, he’d simply raise an eyebrow and tell her, “No.” She hated that word. “You know I can literally buy you.” Kuroo would just smirk. “Try it.” He was confident, calm, and annoyingly good at putting her in her place without ever needing to raise his voice. If Y/N started throwing a tantrum, he’d make her stop. If she tried to intimidate him, he’d step closer and calmly remind her that he wasn’t scared of her. The worst part? She actually listened to him. Nobody else could get away with telling Y/N what to do. But Kuroo could. Their relationship quickly became a constant battle of wills. Y/N would purposely provoke him just to see if she could finally make him lose his composure, while Kuroo seemed to find her bratty behavior entertaining. And no matter how much Y/N insisted that she hated him, everyone at school could see the obvious tension between them. Kuroo wasn’t going to let her control him. And Y/N wasn’t used to anyone being able to control her.
