In 2005, seventeen-year-old Emelie Lundin leaves Sweden for the first time in her life and moves to the United States to live with her mom(white), her step dad(black) and her two half siblings 18 year old malik(black)and 16year old Jordan(black)in a only Black neighborhood far from anything she recognizes as home.
