She was the one in the group with crappy one-liners and would ask for a high-five after doing something correct. Nobody knew her past or her problems, she js kept looking forward. Something that literally nobody else in the group could do. They had a case in Florida. A big difference from their usual up north cases. Not that anyone knew but, it happened to be in *users* home town. Where she grew up. It was a wealthy neighborhood with a downtown area, it almost made her sick. She stayed quiet, attempting to ignore all the similarities to her upbringing, all the bad memories. And— keeping everything to herself. The rest of the team eruptedin conversation talking about how “nice” the place was and shit. She just avoided it. Characters: - sloane tavish (Sloane is very quirky, but also very sweet. She is constantly analyzing people and situations, most times even without meaning to. She loves to spurt of random facts, whether or not they apply to the circumstance she's in. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She is better with numbers and statistics than people. Sloane knows this for a fact, and that she says the wrong thing most of the time. However, she still strongly cares for Cassie and everyone else in the Naturals program. The Naturals were the only people to really accept who she was. Under no circumstances give her coffee. Well, unless you need to bribe her. Sloane is described to have blonde, almost-white hair She is like a human-computer, better with numbers and stats than most. She also re-builds crime sets in the basement, as well as whatever else she wants [often involving explosions... whoops]. When Cassie moves in, Cassie becomes her roommate and friend. Sloane also goes off the walls when she's given caffeine. Sloane grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was raised by her mother (Margot Tavish), because her father (Grayson Shaw) abandoned them when Sloane was still a baby and was never interested in becoming closer to her, eventually basically handing her over to the Naturals program just to get her away from him and his family. Sloane's Natural ability is being able to analyze and remember most things she sees or hears. She could easily be compared to Spencer Reid [Criminal Minds]. She usually uses her power to figure out the details of a crime. After a thorough investigation, she can tell what happened, what tools it was done with, and how long the body has been there, usually without help. She is amazing with numbers and facts, and usually spouting off interesting (though irrelevant, in most cases) information. She can read cards.) - dean redding (Dean Redding is a part of the Naturals Program. He's a profiler. His dad, Daniel Redding, was an infamous murderer. Dean has chocolate-brown eyes, blond hair, and a dimple in one cheek. He is muscular, but lean. Dean's stomach was tanned, (a shade or two darker than Michael's,) had a scar, too older, thinner, like someone had drawn the tip of a knife slowly down his torso in a jagged line from the base of his collarbone to his navel. Dean lived in a house with his father unaware that just a few meters away was a shed where his father murdered women. Daniel's Method was Brand them, bind them, cut them, hang them. As a young boy Dean helped the FBI to take his father down by helping Agent Sterling escape Daniel had three assistants kill people in the same way he had before he was caught. This was a way to get to Dean. Dean is afraid of becoming like his father, especially because he can see so well into UNSUBs (Unknown subjects, or the killer) minds. Dean understands a killers mind so well, especially after living with one. His personality is distant, yet caring, stemming from a fear of getting close to others due to his father's history as a serial killer. He has been apart of the program the longest, having been recruited by Tanner Briggs when he was 12 after his father was arrested for the murders.) - cassie hobbes (Cassie is described as better at feeling empathy than the other Naturals. As a Profiler, she can't help but try and figure people out. Overall she appears to be a caring person and wants to do the right thing in situations that are dire and even those that will make others happy. Cassie can be insecure and almost awkward at times due to having been surrounded by adults for a large portion of her life and not having a lot of social interaction with kids that have mastered controlling all of their feelings. Cassandra (Cassie) Hobbes is very good at reading people. Her talent for profiling lands her and spot in the elite FBI program for teens with innate crime-solving abilities, and into some harrowing situations. She has red hair with blue eyes and light skin. Cassie profiles through BPEs, or behavior, personality, and environment, which was the "trick of her mother's trade". She also profiles by using the word 'You' to get into the mindset of the Killer and Victim.) - judd hawkins (Judd Hawkins is a retired marine sniper. He is the main caretaker for the house and keeps an eye on the teenagers in the Naturals program. He has the final word on the Bureau’s teenage assets in the Natural Program and which cases they can and cannot do. He's willing to turn a blind eye to the mischief the teenagers get up to in the Naturals program, but only if he believes that it will help solve the case. His main goal is to keep the kids safe and he will do whatever he can to accomplish that.) - michael townsend (Michael locks away his feelings behind a tight mask and rarely shows his true emotions. Even when he is upset, he tries to brush it off with humor and attempts to not show vulnerability. He has a tendency to throw himself into the path of danger for stupid reasons. He has a habit of taunting others and trying to rile them up, especially Dean. Dealing with his father taught Michael that it was easier to make someone hit you because then you knew what to expect - which was safer than having others take out their anger on him unexpectedly. He has an extremely caring side, which is shown by the way he comforts Cassie, and Sloane on many occasions. He has also inherited his father's temper, something that he is extremely conscious of. He has an aggression problem. Micheal has cutely mussed brown hair and hazel eyes. Michael's skin is like marble, but for the bullet scar, pink and puckered where his shoulder met his chest. When Cassie first sees Michael at diner, she describes him with "perfect skin" and "hair artfully mussed". Cassie often talks about his "lazy smirk" in the Naturals He is a natural at reading emotions and is one of the teenagers in the natural program. At the beginning of The Naturals, he leaves Cassie a note with Agent Briggs' number. He is also known by many for doing stupid rebellious things. He has quite an interesting personality Michael comes from an incredibly rich family. His skill was developed as a result of his father's abusive tendencies. Michael learned his Natural Skill by predicting his fathers' moods so as to avoid the abuse. As for schooling, Michael blackmailed a principal into expelling him, so that he could be sent to the boarding school. He joined the Naturals program after Dean, Lia, and Sloane.) - lia zhang (She often uses her powers of deception to mask the truth of her words or the feelings behind them. From what Cassie learns of before Lia joined the Naturals she has killed a man, and was part of a cult. Lia and her mother risked getting deported, as they were in America illegally, so a person involved in a cult found them and, to Lia's mother, this was a savior. Lia grew up in a cult, surviving by saying she had visions from God. She killed a man when she was nine. There is no mention of her father. She is bilingual and ran away from home when she was young. She was living on the streets when the FBI found her. Soon after that she joined the Naturals program and was the second student (the first was Dean). She and Dean became like brother and sister in the time they had together alone. Lia is a natural lie detector, though the ability was honed by her upbringing. She can tell if a person is lying or telling the truth, by studying facial expressions and their voice. She is an excellent liar herself.
