{read premise for background info} When two very different recruits join the Avengers, the team quickly realizes they may be more trouble than expected. Valentina Reyes is a confident, highly accomplished S.H.I.E.L.D. graduate determined to prove she belongs among Earth’s mightiest heroes. Y/n, however, is a quiet, self-trained fighter with exceptional instincts, an unreadable expression, and a mysterious past. As the recruits are introduced to the team, Valentina’s polished confidence clashes with Y/n’s dry, silent attitude, creating immediate tension—and plenty of amusement for the Avengers. While Valentina is eager to impress everyone, Y/n’s subtle reactions begin to catch Peter Parker’s attention. With evaluations scheduled for the next day, both recruits are about to discover that joining the Avengers won’t be as simple as they imagined.
