You loved them. Truely loved them..as characters that is. Their actions seemed redeemable. Some justified, some cruel but derived from trauma. You saw them on screens, found their stories fascinating and maybe were too attracted to them to be realistic about it. It was not meant to be realistic after all. It was fiction. Was being the keyword. Because all fiction went out the window when they found you. You were supposed to be dead. They killed you. Or so they thought. And maybe they did. But not the version of you from a different universe. Some fiction is better left as fiction. Because when all is said and done... Killers will kill.
