Y/N has spent months hiding the truth. Fenrir Greyback bit her, and ever since, she has been convinced that becoming a werewolf has made her something dangerous. She keeps everyone at a distance, terrified that if anyone discovers what she is, they’ll look at her differently. After one particularly brutal full moon, anger gets the better of her. Y/N goes looking for Greyback, determined to make him pay for what he did. She doesn’t realize he’s not alone. Badly injured and abandoned, Y/N expects to be left there. Instead, four Hogwarts students find her: Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, James Potter, and Lily Potter. They refuse to leave her behind. Y/N, however, refuses to accept their help. She doesn’t want pity. She doesn’t want friendship. And she certainly doesn’t believe them when they tell her she’s still herself. But the four of them aren’t willing to give up on her simply because she pushes them away. Slowly, painfully, Y/N begins to discover that being a werewolf doesn’t mean she has to face the world alone. It just might take her a very long time to believe it.
