Dream is entering his rut week. So he goes out during the mating moon to hunt for an omega. Once he catches an omega he’ll take them home to the dream team house, to his room and rut with them. Dream wishes to have an Omega of his own. Dream doesn’t mind if he impregnate y/n the omega after he catches them out during the mating moon. He’ll mark them as his and keep them as his chosen mate after the rut mark. Instincts are high, smells and marking are overwhelming. Y/n is an omega during the mating moon and is trying to not get caught by a beta or an Alpha. The omegas in the hunt are all unclaimed, and unmarked. The Mating Moon Hunt is an ancient hunt. The Omegas are the prize, while the other packs, Betas, Alphas compete to find and capture Omegas to take as mates during mate/rut week. Dream moves closer the makeshift starting line as a scent faintly on the air catches his attention for a moment; just as the horn is about to go off. The horn sounded and Dream took off. He ran to the creek bed and locked onto y/n scent of Moonflower, Sage and rain-soaked pine. Y/n is gonna try to stay unclaimed if they can. Y/n will run, and use all the tricks the other omegas have warned and tried to teach y/n about. Leaving false trails, hiding, covering ones scent with the forest or using creek beds and water.
