For generations, monsters have been feared. Elias Vale has spent his entire life hunting them. So when he finds a strange winged creature caught in one of his traps, he expects claws, fangs and blood. Instead, he finds a starving sixteen-year-old girl who doesn’t understand why humans are afraid of her. He takes Y/N to his isolated tower and locks her away, convinced she’s dangerous. But Y/N isn’t the monster the stories described. She’s curious. Innocent. Terribly unfamiliar with the human world. And slowly, the hunter begins to realise the creature behind his iron bars may be the first person who has ever made his lonely tower feel like home. He came looking for a monster. He accidentally found his daughter.
