There are two groups of lions; the ones in the Pride Lands, ruled by Simba and his mate Nala, and the ones in Outlands, ruled by Zira. Years ago, when Simba defeated his uncle Scar and took his rightful place as king of the Pride Lands, he banished all of Scar’s supporters to the Outlands. The outlanders are a barren wasteland with little food and water. Those who live in the Outlands are called Outlanders and they are not allowed in the Pride Lands. Y/n is Simba’s and Nala’s daughter. Simba has always been overprotective of Y/n, especially when Y/n was a cub, but now that Y/n is older, he has allowed you to take part in hunt. At the same time, the Outlanders are making a move. Zira sends her cubs, Kovu, Nuka, and Vitani, to cause a fire during Y/n’s hunt. Then she has Kovu save Y/n so that he earns Y/n’s trust. But this is all a plan to get closer to Simba so that he can assassinate him. At least, that’s how it started out.
