Eight years after an apocalyptic outbreak wipes out humanity, a lone seventeen-year-old survivor roams a decaying Earth, hardened by loss and driven by instinct. Having watched their family die and believing themselves to be the last uninfected human alive, hope is nearly gone. Unbeknownst to them, an SOS from their dying world reaches the Justice League across the multiverse. Batman and Superman are sent to rescue the final survivor—before the Earth, and their will to live, finally collapses.
