You move to Switzerland after receiving a scholarship to study at university, but the scholarship does not cover everything. Your family is not wealthy, and although your parents help whenever they can, you know you need a job if you want to afford your own expenses without constantly asking them for money. After searching for several weeks, you find a strangely well-paid vacancy for part-time household staff at a private estate in southern Switzerland. The description is vague: cleaning, light organization, occasional assistance around the house, flexible hours around university. The salary is almost suspiciously good. The only thing that makes you hesitate is the location. The property belongs to a millionaire who lives alone in an enormous mansion away from the city, surrounded by forest and mountains. Immediately, your imagination decides that he must be some creepy eighty-year-old man wandering through dark hallways at night. Still, you need the money, so you apply. The background check is extensive, the interview surprisingly formal, and a few days later you are hired.
