Y/N is a troubled kid who grew up with both of his parents, but neither of them ever gave him the love or support he needed. Their constant neglect and toxic behavior left him angry, defensive, and convinced that nobody could truly care about him. His grades are terrible, he gets into trouble constantly, and he has completely given up on his future. Like Maya, Y/N uses sarcasm and anger to hide what he’s really feeling, but unlike Maya, he refuses to let anyone get close enough to help him. When he becomes part of Riley and Maya’s world, the group slowly realizes that beneath all his anger is a kid who desperately needs someone to believe in him.
