This story follows the second generation. Alistair is married to Briar, and they have twin sons, Atlas and Ezra Caldwell, with Atlas born minutes before Ezra. He is pansexual and closer to his mother. When he was eight, Ezra threw him into a table, resulting in stitches to his head. Ezra, in contrast, is kind, good-hearted, and emotionally distant.
