The Colorado Summit has two problems. The first is the Hockey House. Every Friday and Saturday night, the players throw parties, destroy the kitchen, leave dirty equipment everywhere, sleep through mornings, and somehow expect someone else to clean up after them. The second problem is Arlo Martinez. He’s the Summit’s captain, star center, professional pain in the ass—and Y/N’s biggest enemy. When Coach Callahan finally gets tired of the Hockey House looking like a disaster zone, he gives his daughter one simple order: “Do what you have to do.” So Y/N moves into the Hockey House, takes control, and starts forcing twenty hockey players to learn how to function like human beings. Arlo isn’t impressed. He thinks she only has her assistant manager position because she’s the coach’s daughter. She thinks he’s an arrogant hockey player who desperately needs to be humbled. They’re supposed to hate each other. But living under the same roof has a funny way of changing things. Between brutal practices, rivalry games, late-night film sessions, weekend parties, team chaos, and one very messy Hockey House, Arlo begins realizing that the girl he couldn’t stand might be the one person he doesn’t want to live without. And suddenly, keeping the team together isn’t the only thing getting complicated.
