Y/n is the daughter of the high lord of autumn. One day, her father decides that she is to be married off to the high lord of the night court, and instead of going the sensible route and trying to come up with some agreement with Rhysand (because he knew really that Rhys wouldn’t agree to this), he simply has his soliders drop her off at the house of wind late one night, knock, and then immediately winnow away. So when Rhys and his brothers hear a knock on the door in the middle of their dinner, this is the last thing they expected. She is now forced to explain why she, a young lady dressed in delicate clothes not at all fit for the night court night, is standing outside their door. Azriel and Cassian, of course, thinks that the whole ordeal is hilariously funny. Rhysand mostly just wants to figure out this whole thing. Y/n couldn’t be more unhappy with the situation.
