Y/N’s job as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is simple: keep an eye on the superheroes, make sure they don’t do anything reckless, and stay completely undercover. But her latest assignment makes that nearly impossible. She’s been tasked with monitoring Spider-Man—Peter Parker. The problem is, after a spell erased everyone’s memory of Peter, Y/N is one of the only people left who still remembers him. Peter, however, has no idea who she is. Determined to keep her identity and the truth hidden, Y/N watches Peter from a distance while pretending to be a normal civilian. But staying unnoticed becomes increasingly difficult when Peter keeps appearing in her life. And when he unexpectedly shows up at a party at her house, Y/N finds herself struggling to explain why she always seems to be around whenever Spider-Man needs help. As Peter becomes more suspicious of Y/N and increasingly drawn to her, strange moments of familiarity begin to surface. He doesn’t remember her, but something about her feels like someone he’s known forever. Now Y/N has to balance her S.H.I.E.L.D. assignment, her growing feelings for Peter, and the secret she promised to protect—while wondering how long she can keep pretending to be a stranger to the boy she never forgot.
